Australasian Art & Stageworks Inc was formed by Chinese Heritage Association of Australia president and NSW Premier community award recipient Daphne Lowe Kelley and performers including Gabrielle Chan, Ivy Mak and Michael Quan following their short play performance in the Harden Murrumburrah Gold Trail Event about early Chinese Australians. Objectives:
. To provide opportunities for culturally diverse performers
. To promote understanding and reconciliation within the community through dramatic arts
. To educate and entertain the broader Australian community.
